[ARCHIVED FROM MAY 21 2019]

On March 20, 2019, young teens Elijah Walkers and Eden Rozea Harpe went missing after posting on social media that they were going to meet each other in real life. They went missing in Washington State, in a forested area about 20 miles from Seattle.

Eden had a history of erratic and impulsive behavior. Elijah had been recorded missing five times in the past year, all of which had been attempts to run away from home. Authorities had at first believed Elijah and Eden had decided to run away together.

On March 25, 2019, two unidentified bodies were found near a motel at the border between Washington and Canada. One was heavily decayed; both were mutilated and unable to be identified on sight. The scene of some sort of violent crime was found about a mile away from the bodies; however, there were no bodies at the scene, leading officials to believe that the bodies had been dumped by the motel after the crime.

On April 16, 2019, one of the bodies was positively identified as Eden Rozea Harpe. Her relatives were informed.

On April 20, 2019, the other body was positively identified as 15-year-old Jasper Lee, who had been reported missing since December 22, 2018.

Elijah is still missing. No trace of him has been found since March 21, 2019, his last recorded message sent to someone else. He is currently a suspect in Eden Harpe's murder.
